Notice of Annual Election 2013

I am writing to inform you that the nominations for Annual Election 2013 for the Union Executives, Popularly Elected Union Councillors, Undergrad and Campus TV are now open.

The following posts are open for nomination for the Annual Election:

Union Executive Committee

1. President [1 seat]

2. Vice-President (Internal) [1 seat]

3. Vice-President (External) [1 seat]

4. General Secretary [1 seat]

5. Financial Secretary [1 seat]

6. University Affairs Secretary [2 seats]

7. External Affairs Secretary [2 seats]

8. Student Welfare Secretary [1 seat]

9. Publications and Publicity Secretary [1 seat]

10. Social Secretary [1 seat]

11. Current Affairs Secretary [1 seat]

12. Administrative Secretary [1 seat]

Popularly Elected Union Councillor [10 seats]

Undergrad

1. Editor-in-chief [1 seat]

2. Assistant Editors-in-chief [2 seats]

Campus TV

1. Chairperson [1 seat]

2. Vice-chairperson (Internal) [1 seat]

3. Vice-chairperson (External) [1 seat]

4. Vice-chairperson (Outlet-development) [1 seat]

According to the resolution of the Union Council, the nomination shall close at 7 January 2013 noon (12:00).

Official nomination forms can be obtained at the Union Office (1/F Union Building) and to be returned to the Union Staff at the same address. Only the original copy will be accepted. Other submission method and late submission will not be recognized.

The above mentioned Election will be held from 5-8 February 2013 with the prior approval by the Union Council.

Any publicity by the candidate is only allowed to take place 48 hours after the receiving of nomination. All resources that will be used by the candidates shall be booked through the Election Commission.

Notice of the Annual Election for the Undergraduate Student Membership to the Boards of Faculties

I am writing to inform you that the nominations for the Annual Election for the Undergraduate Student Membership to the Boards of Faculties are opened on 25 December 2013.

The followings seats are opened for nomination:

1. Faculty of Architecture [1 seat]

2. Faculty of Arts [3 seats]

3. Faculty of Business and Economics [3 seats]

4. Faculty of Dentistry [3 seats]

5. Faculty of Education [1 seat]

6. Faculty of Engineering [1 seat]

7. Faculty of Law [1 seat]

8. Faculty of Medicine [3 seats]

9. Faculty of Science [3 seats]

10. Faculty of Social Sciences [1 seat]
